The Lotus F1 team have been competing in Formula 1 since 1954. It is one of the longest serving teams amongst other greats such as Ferrari. It is also one of the most successful racing teams of all time, winning seven Formula One Constructors' titles, six Drivers' Championships, and the Indianapolis 500 in the United States, between 1962 and 1978. Some of the great drivers in the past who have embraced the seat of this car with its famously unmistakable black and gold livery include Jim Clarke, Stirling Moss, Mario Andretti, Nigel Mansell and the late and probably one of the greatest drivers ever Ayrton Senna.
